Matchmaking Matchmaking The composition of tanks in each team is a task of matchmaker. It works in following manner. It takes one tank from the queue and looks at his tier. For example it is IS – russian heavy with tier 7. The matchmaker takes the corresponding line from the table below and sees that the IS has battle tiers from 7 till 9. Randomly is the tier for battle selected.
In our example let it be 8 from 7 to 9 incl. The matchmaker takes tanks from queue, which can participate in tier 8 battles see column number 8 in the table and puts them in 2 teams. In our battle we can face Tiger II and for example M6 both can participate in tier 8 battles. There are 12 battle tiers. In the tier 12 battles you will have only tanks from 10 tier and some light scouts from lower tiers.
Some players are confusing battle tiers with tank tiers. This values must not be the same. The matchmaker resolves battle tier on the basis of table below.

Please tell me how the game is before I play it. Nothing against those Russians, but in this game they have a ridiculously unfair advantage of being able to buy equipments for half the price that Europeans or Americans have to pay.
This is probably to push non-Russians into buying more and more using the currency of their country which is more valuable to Tanki than RussianRoubles to catch-up with the Russian majority.
The performance of your tank depends directly on the qualification of its crew. Each crew member is fulfilling one or several roles in your tank and the performance of your tank in those areas depends on their effective primary skill levels. For example, reload time depends on the Loader’s skill.
As a new player, I was very curious to see whether a new player could be reasonably competitive without spending any money. Gold ammo, which you buy with real money, definitely gives a huge advantage. Gold ammo will penetrate i. However… Individual player skill matters more than anything. No amount of gold ammo or having a Premium account will enable a player to aim effectively, understand how to counter opponents, and work effectively with other players. Our focus for is delivering greater visual and sound fidelity, enriching the game with new vehicles and new ways to experience tank combat, as well as new fun-fueled events. Slated to hit production servers in March, it reimagines the game with a new graphics engine and over 25 ultra-realistic maps. This impressive revamp has been over four years in the making.
We wanted to give the game a modern look, while also ensuring you can enjoy it on your rig. Much like we all do in a battle, we needed to plan a few steps ahead. In our case, it called for a solution that would support the latest technological advancements while having enough capacity to let us advance graphics in tandem with it.
Tier 4 is an unfortunate tier as they can’t meet tier 2, but can meet tier 6, meaning their mm spread is -1/+2. It’s the same sort of thing for tier 3’s, as they can’t meet tier 1’s but can meet tier 5 so their mm spread is -1/+2 as well.
Tue Sep 27, 2: Matchmaking for T4 lights sucks. Matchmaking for a few individual vehicles sucks. T5 vehicles in general? Not really, unless you’re comparing it to stuff that’s of a much higher tier. Matchmaking for most T5 vehicles is pretty good. You’ve got a good chance of being one of the biggest dogs on the field, and if you’re not then you’re still capable of contributing to the battle meaningfully as long as you keep in mind that- as with every other vehicle in the game- you’re going to be sad if you try to slug it out with a higher tier opponent.
World of Tanks Introduces 30v30 Frontline Game Mode
I could be accused of being biased, I do have over 20k games in the beta, and a little more than 15K since release. Random in game shot with interface turned off. The problem with most simulator type tank games is they take to long, and then you finally make contact, miss the camping sniper tank and die. They claim to be realistic, but really, when they get past the set PVE scenarios, are not more realistic in PVP play then the arcade games, because of the limitations of the platform.
War Thunder suffers from this along with a lot of other problems. An M7 medium on fire, in game shot, interface off, as you can see the HD game is very nice looking.

Leave a comment One of the most far-reaching changes coming to World of Tanks in the 7. The meat of this change is that the tier spread that one is likely to face will become a lot narrower. Most tanks will now no longer face tanks more than two tiers above them — the primary exception to this being Tier IV light tanks which will continue to see Tier VII tanks in their role as scouts. Having looked at the new chart one version of which can be found here , and pondered it for a few days, here are my thoughts on the most notable changes.
I think this is really interesting because currently Tier I and II tanks face a relatively limited number of opposing tanks. That said, I also think new players in three months time will adapt very nicely. This is no doubt the reason behind the downward tweaking of these Tank Destroyers, but even though these vehicles will still face Tier IV and V opposition respectively, I think their performance will still be equal.
In the mid-tiers, medium tanks, heavy tanks, and tank destroyers now all only face tanks no more than two tiers above them. This is in comparison to regularly facing tanks 3, or sometimes even 4 tiers above them. Again I view the prime beneficiary of this change to be the tanks in the Tier IV-VII range, as there will be fewer tanks on the battlefield against which they are generally ineffective. The necessary other effect of this change is there will be fewer softer targets for higher-tier tanks, especially the Tier IX and X tanks.
However, this should actually make battles far more competitive, and therefore engaging, and will I am sure result in better game experiences all around even though the higher tier tanks might occasionally have less easy stomping.

The speed of the M41 allowed the tank to zoom around tanks while unloading the massive clip, and that was the most common playstyle players used. The gun, being single-shot, had better gun handling characteristics, but the ability to clip tier 7 and 8 tanks with the autoloader made the autoloader simply a better choice for the tank.

These values are found on the World of Tanks wiki and hopefully they are up to date…but its not that important to base my view on. Under my proposal the matchmaking weight values would be changed along with the method of assigning specific tanks their values. Each tier would have a range at where the matchmaking weight values will be at and instead of tanks being weighted based on their class they would be weighted based on how well they are balanced against their peers.

And yeah, I can do decently in tier VIII tanks in tier X games. But I was watching Circon and he really makes some good points while playing is 59 Patton. (Its right at the start of the video, dont worry.
C your ‘mech will have an addition to the original games in that it will have some sort of circuit board in it that you will plug role specific modules into that would be useless if the matchmaker just chucked a bunch of Atlases in a game with “call an airstrike” modules but had no scouts to find a target. D it is stated specifically that there will be 3 commanders. Two lance commanders and a company commander. This really only works right if there are specifically 3 ‘mechs sporting commander modules and 3 people who know that they are commanders and who they will be commanding It is worth saying that knowing who your commander is will also be important.
Because of all of this I expect to be pleasantly surprised with a level of organization and preparation that begins well before a person hits the button that says something equivalent to “BATTLE” and just seeing what they come up with. This may trigger a drastic improvement over the pretty much random dispersal of players in WOT. I suspect that it will also somewhat increase queue lengths that’s OK! In a dev blog it stated that XP is also gained by following your commander’s orders.
